Sometimes I randomly peruse Craig's List for awesome deals on vintage finds and I also I help others find items they are looking for. I've commissioned some pretty good deals in the past, and I think it is fun, so it's a win - win for sure. Today I decided to concentrate on kitchen and dining, and here are today's finds:
http://memphis.craigslist.org/atq/3137504360.html Cover the chair cushions and use them with a different table, or keep the table, the 70's are back!
http://memphis.craigslist.org/atq/3103119228.html I love this table. Simple, solid and would be easily changed up with painted or upholstered chairs. I love casters.
http://memphis.craigslist.org/atq/3085229697.html Okay the chairs are awful but the table is sweet! Just the right combo of traditional and contemporary, you could do just about anything with this. I love huge round dining tables with arm-chairs.
http://northmiss.craigslist.org/atq/3119797683.html Not my style but this is an amazing deal.
http://northmiss.craigslist.org/atq/3107645632.html The green hutch thing is wonderful. I need it.
http://northmiss.craigslist.org/atq/3118863552.html Precious. Paint immediately, grey with white linen cushions would be nice.
http://jonesboro.craigslist.org/atq/3096962136.html Love the dinette set and the china cabinet. I'm pretty sure it's maple, not oak. I like the Danish Modern-esc look of it.
All of these pieces could use a little work, but they are totally worth it. A little paint and upholstery work and you've got a one-of-a-kind piece at a ridiculously low price. If you are on the lookout for something in particular, let me know. You never know what I might be able to find for you.
Fun fact of the day: The US customs office considers antique as anything 100 years old or older.
